The Research Center for Intelligent Medical Materials and Devices (hereinafter referred to as the "Intelligent Materials Center") was established in August 2021 and is a research unit affiliated with the Institute of Biomedical and Health Engineering, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with intelligent medical materials as the main research object. The Intelligent Materials Center, facing the significant demands of diseases such as neurology and cardiology, is guided by key scientific issues of medical materials. It develops and constructs multi-functional new concept materials and adaptive biological devices that promote the regeneration, repair, and functional reconstruction of soft tissues such as nerves and blood vessels, achieving a deep cross-integration from "material intelligence" to "intelligent medical", and providing new theoretical and technical support for the development needs of intelligent materials in the field of life and health. The representative achievements of the Intelligent Materials Center in the past five years have been published in high-level academic journals such as Science Advances, Matter, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, and National Science Review. It has cumulatively undertaken various competitive projects at all levels, including key special projects of the National Key Research and Development Program for "Key Scientific Issues of Transformative Technologies", the Outstanding Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation, the Guangdong Province Innovation Team, and the Shenzhen Peacock Team.

[Position Requirements]
Have obtained or will soon obtain a doctoral degree in materials, chemistry, biology, medicine, or biomedical engineering. Candidates with research experience in bionic intelligent materials, stimulus-responsive polymers, bioelectronics, neural interface devices, tissue engineering, sensors, soft actuators, or implantable/wearable biological devices are preferred;
Love scientific research, be diligent and hardworking, have a good team spirit and communication and coordination skills;
Relevant professional fields such as materials, chemistry, biology, medicine, and biomedical engineering;
Have scientific research experience and achievement outputs in related directions such as bionic intelligent materials, stimulus-responsive polymers, bioelectronics, neural interface devices, tissue engineering, sensors, soft actuators, or implantable/wearable biological devices;
Have good English reading, writing and communication skills, and have published at least one SCI paper as the author in an internationally renowned journal.
[Remuneration and Benefits]
Remuneration: The appointment period is two years, and the comprehensive annual salary is 300,000 - 450,000 yuan/year (including provincial and municipal subsidies); among them, those who pass the opening and mid-term assessment will enjoy an annual living subsidy of 60,000 yuan for postdoctoral fellows from the Shenzhen Municipal Government (a total of 120,000 yuan for two years).

During the station, you can apply for the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Funding (the standard for general funding is 80,000 yuan and 50,000 yuan, and the standard for special funding is 180,000 yuan and 150,000 yuan);
Those who meet the conditions can competitively apply for the National "Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program" (the state provides a total of 640,000 yuan for each person in two years of Class A, of which 560,000 yuan is the living subsidy for postdoctoral fellows and 80,000 yuan is the scientific research funding; 360,000 yuan is the living subsidy for postdoctoral Fellows of Class B; 240,000 yuan is the living subsidy for postdoctoral Fellows of Class C). This program is not concurrently available with the daily funds of Guangdong Province and the living subsidy of Shenzhen City;
Guangdong Province Overseas Postdoctoral Talent Support Program (600,000 yuan/2 years at the station, 400,000 yuan/3 years for housing subsidy after leaving the station and staying in Guangdong, totaling 1 million yuan). This program is not concurrently available with the daily funds of Guangdong Province and the living subsidy of Shenzhen City;
During the station, you can apply for the "President's Postdoctoral Preferred Special Project Plan", and a third-year subsidy will be provided at a standard of 200,000 yuan per selected person. You can apply for a municipal postdoctoral apartment, municipal talent housing, or apply for a one-time housing subsidy of 20,000 yuan, and be awarded the "President's Postdoctoral Preferred Special Funding Certificate".
After leaving the station and staying in the institute, you can apply for the Shenzhen Postdoctoral Research Funding for Staying in Shenzhen, which provides a research funding of 100,000 yuan/year for a total of 3 years.
